感謝Friday的協助大概瞭解了，根據Google Friend Connect在安裝過程中給的提示，需要安裝兩個檔案：

(1) rpc_relay.html
This file provides security for your site and for your visitors.
– 看了http://www.google.com/friendconnect/script/rpc_relay.js的內容總共只有八行，應該是要確認是由哪個網站叫用了這個服務。

(2) canvas.html
This file allows Friend Connect gadgets on your site to “zoom” to a larger size and back. This file can be edited to match the aesthetics of your site.
– 應該是要讓使用者能自行修改版型與大小以便放入網站。

Dear derek,

其中一個canvas.html是css檔，你可以自行修改裡面的樣式，以得到不一樣的Gadget畫面。
另外一個rpc_relay.html其實只是去呼叫google的一個js檔，目的似乎是要確認「這個gadget是被哪一個網站的哪一個網頁呼叫的」…
